Rowathon

So at Chester university today there was a 12 hour 'rowathon' to raise money for Children in Need. There were around 30 teams constantly rowing for 12 hours.

One of my housemates played a huge part in organising the event, another housemate is part of the rowing society so took part in their team. And myseld and the other housemate decided to volunteer at the event - cheering people on, helping people out, tidying up after the event etc etc. We had a go at rowing for a bit too :).

All in all the event was a great success! And apparently the amount raised is close to the 10k mark which is pretty amazing!
