Complementary Colours

Today’s compositional theme suggested I might like to look at colour theory. I allowed myself 5 minutes for that at the start of a busy day.

It’s the Pride event in Manchester tomorrow. And my 5 minutes study has informed me that the Pride rainbow flag - to be found everywhere at the moment - includes the three primary colours of Blue, Yellow and Red, and their oppositional (and complementary) secondaries of Orange, Violet and Green. You never stop learning.

The last few weeks have been full on in all sorts of ways. We both need a bit of a wind down and rest this bank holiday. Fingers crossed.
