Annandale Water

For somewhere to stop on the journey between Edinburgh and Kendal, Annandale Water service station on the A74(M)  is about half way and offers a better than usual opportunity to stretch the legs. I left Edinburgh in sunshine, drove through many heavy rain showers and arrived to sunshine in the Lakes. The jobs in Edinburgh are not finished but its my wedding anniversary tomorrow and thought I should come home in case I am going to be taken out somewhere nice.
