Rainy Birthday

It was The Bro-in-Law's birthday today. we always celebrate our birthdays by going out for a meal together. Kanyl had kept mentioning a fish and chip restaurant in Blackpool that he and his late wife had been to. So, that was it!

We headed off in the direction of Blackpool but our first stop was at Beetham Nurseries for lunch. I would have liked to have looked at their outdoor display but I just blipped one of my favourites, a Black-eyed Susan from the sheltered bit as it was pouring down. I actually bought it to give it another try in my garden.

Next stop was The Heron Mill, a working flour mill and then onto Barton Grange Garden Centre, another place B-i_L visited often with Alice.

Our last stop of the day was The Cottage Fish and Chip restaurant in the suburbs of Blackpool. A very good meal!
