Milton of Campsie

Running a bit in arrears with my Blip posting at the moment - please bear with me!

Tuesday's walk with Cumbernauld & Kilsyth Ramblers was a linear walk along part of the Strathkelvin Railway Path from Kirkintilloch to Clachan of Campsie. At the end of the walk, which took us just over two hours, we caught the bus back to Kirkintilloch, although some stayed to have a coffee in the cafe at Clachan first and caught a later bus.

We had our mid-walk break at Milton of Campsie, where a group of local volunteers has tidied-up and then landscaped the area around the former railway station. This photo was taken from the road bridge looking down on the railway path.
