Lots of photos taken today on out trip out to Rannoch. Schiehallion sitting above Loch Rannoch, the Rannoch Frog Stone, some Rannoch topiary, and finally a visit to a limestone pavement near Schiehallion itself. I like limestone pavements and this one had the most spectacular view west over Loch Rannoch. However, my heart was drawn to the ferns that have grown up in the holes of the limestone pavement and sit there, snug and curled in their little caves and that's what today's photo is going to be of one of them.
