This is an acorn

Which is the only thing I took a photo of today.

My cousin Sheri and her hubby Bill made the drive to our house for a mini vacation. They got here on Wednesday and spent the night.    She actually found a little cottage on the lake here about two miles from my house where they are going to stay until Monday.  They could not get  into the place until mid afternoon today so we spent the day chatting and laughing, then after they got settled in we went out to eat (tomorrow we are having way less food!).  

This photo is the only one   taken early this morning before they got up.  I was trying to catch something in this early light coming through the trees on to the deck.
