Ice Cream for everyone!

Today, we have a very relaxing Saturday on the schedule! The kids earned enough stickers awhile ago for a trip to icecream, but we haven't made it. So, today, after lunch, we headed down to the local spot for some yummy ice cream! Both kids had black licorice, which totally cracks me up. But, they LOVE it. The worker was even having Mia try various flavors, to make sure she really wanted black licorice. and she did! It was very fun. Tyler talked Dad into a regular sized waffle cone and ate the entire thing. Before we left, the kids played with the toys and I tried to beat Tyler in a game of checkers!

This is a mini cone. That's Mia's tiny little 2 year old hand grabbing for the ice cream. I loved this picture - only wished it was orange sherbert or another vibrant color. I just can't help it if they love black licorice!

We're resting now and heading out for a late night of Eagle basketball. It's Alumni night and they'll have booths set up for the kids. Someday, they'll laugh at how much of our day is determined based on things that are pleasing for them!
