Bake off

A slow day today for two reasons - the family were home very late last night and the weather was cold and wet for most of the day.

In the morning Olivia and baked and later we harvested the first lot of tatties and the shallots. The Wens went shopping and there was much Cbeebies.  Later the girls had a long sleep, and their dad had a nap while I booked my Christmas present Stobo trip. 

It turned into a beautiful evening and after the adults went off to the Fringe I took the girls to the park.  Amelia is absolutely fearless and not scared of things like Amelia was at her age.  However, the late sleep meant she was up and charging around with balloons after only half an hour in bed. She is quite a character and knows when to put on a show.

And Olivia was great today - baking, gardening and helping to make the tea.  Almost 4 is a wonderful age.
