Wast Water. Lake District.

I drove at 3.30 this morning to miss traffic. Up at 2.30. It was all worthwhile to have a swim in this beautiful lake. I’m currently on my way to Loch Lomond as I have a 10k swim to do there on Saturday. This is a perfect part way stopover. I’m staying in Grasmere this evening and have a four poster bed all to myself. We had to drive on Hardknott Pass. That was different! How people manage to cycle it I’ll never know. It was hard enough in the car.
A bit of exploring in the morning. Hoping to find a waterfall. Then it’s cars packed and on to Scotland.
