Pears...
...not from our tree, they're not quite ripe yet.
It was raining this morning so I thought I'd try for a bit of 'wall art' with these pears... they're from South Africa by the way.
This was taken using the ambient light on our kitchen table so quite a long shutter speed, 16 seconds. So the photo also qualifies for the Camera Club Challenge this week.
This afternoon we went of to Study Camps to have a look at a little private collection of bygone artefacts that have been put together by a wonderful chap who's been collecting for donkeys years... the surprise was just how much he had and the scope of the collection. There was a gun camera from a wartime Spitfire to an extensive collection of 'Quality Street' tins going back years... If you're local do go and see it, its well worth it.
(extra) Part of the collection of Boot Polish tins...
Harvest
