I took this rather damp view from Waterloo Bridge tonight on the way home from work.

I'd just walked through Somerset House, people were skating on the ice rink they've set up for the 'Festive Season' (it seems it's the 'season to be jolly' and no escape!). I didn't feel very jolly though when I started to remove my camera from my bag and was pounced upon by a man telling me I wouldn't be able to take photos unless I was with someone who was on the rink. He said there was a way to get a photo, if I 'signed a bit of paper'. I didn't fancy any of that 'paper signing' businesss, so said 'no thank you' and went away feeling a little scolded! Nevermind..I'll get a sneaky photo one day!
