Why is everyone so serious?

I am back blipping this and apologise that this uninteresting photo was the better of the two I took.

Had a lovely evening with four girlfriends at the Mount Vineyard in Shoreham. I go there quite frequently for a glass of their wine and cheeseboard after a long walk from home. Last night we went to the Wednesday evening vineyard tour and wine tasting. It was very interesting and informative. Myles, the estate manager explained the wine making process and said they would be harvesting their grapes in mid September this year, a month earlier than other years. Back in the conservatory we sampled five of their wines along with cheese platters and charcuterie for the meat eaters.

We also had two bottles of a French rose as the Mount have sold out of their own rose wine.

For once, Ian had a short drive to pick me up as when i usually go out with these friends it is some distance away. It made a change for them to come over my way. They all plan to return to the Mount as we had such an enjoyable time in a beautiful location.
