Skelwith Bridge

I dropped Santana at the station first thing and had a drive into the Lakes.  We tend not to visit them very much during the school holidays but I felt I needed a 'fix'.

Drove up to Grasmere and from there to Red Bank, Great Langdale, Elterwater (extra is Elterwater and Wetherlam beyond) and stopped at Chesters on the River Brathay for coffee.  I was so early that I was the first person there.  Had the cafe and the shop to myself pretty much.

Home via Ambleside, Windermere, Bowness and the lake road down to Newby Bridge.

Not the greatest weather today but beautiful as always.
