Ffyn yn erbyn yr awyr ~ Sticks against the sky

Mae'r llun 'Ffyn yn erbyn yr awyr' yn un o'r 'ystrydebau' yn ffotograffiaeth.  Mae pobol yn dweud yr un peth am luniau machlud haul - ei bod nhw'n 'ystrydebau'.  Ond rydw i'n anghytuno. Os dych chi'n gwerthfawrogi rhywbeth ar y pryd, dydy e ddim ystrydeb. Dim ond gwerthfawrogiad. Beth bynnag, rydw i'n wastad hoffi'r golwg coed noeth yn erbyn yr awyr, ond mae'n rhyfedd i weld nhw yn ystod yr Haf.


The 'Sticks Against the Sky' picture is one of the 'clichés' in photography. People say the same for sunset pictures - they're 'stereotypes'. But I beg to differ. If you really appreciate something at the time, it's not a stereotype. Just appreciation. Anyway, I always love the sight of bare trees against the sky but it's strange to see them during the Summer.
