Dollywood

We hit the road after breakfast and reached Pigeon Forge (home of Dollywood) by lunch, where we checked into the pretty decent ‘Black Fox Lodge’ - a nice, new hotel with a wooden lodge feel. We have a massive room with two double beds plus a full size double sofa bed for Joe, a kitchenette, large bathroom and a balcony.
The weather wasn’t great as we left the Blue Ridge, but steadily picked up, and in the afternoon Joe and Heidi had a good old splash in the little outdoor pool. We then all had a round of crazy golf and another grand meal. I’ve never eaten so much!
Dollywood Splash World and Stampede tomorrow. Forecast is good- fingers crossed.
