A Splash of Color

The term splash of colour refers to the effect of the use of a coloured item on an otherwise monochrome image to draw extra attention to the item. I love bright vibrant colors because they make me happy but I also love monochromatic shades of one color. Today as I was leaving a rehearsal at church I saw these beautiful flowers planted around our cross tower. The Splash of color made me smile. It was fun playing with this photo.
