Step by step

Stopped on my walk home from work to look at the light of streetlamps and how they created shade on the river.

Home, listening to one of my favourite radio programmes: 'Across the Great Divide' - a US station and heard this song which resonated with me:

Step by step the longest march can be won, can be won
Many stones can form an arch, singly none, singly none
And by union what we will can be accomplished still
Drops of water turn a mill, singly none, singly none.

From Ruthie Gorton: from the preamble to the constitution of the United Mineworkers of America

Thankfully I have little that I must do this weekend.
