After the Rain

The wildflowers around the lake have really suffered from the lack of rain this summer.  But after the rain this week these pretty flowers popped up all around the campground. :-)

After having packed most of our outdoor things yesterday, we were able to get ready and leave the campground early this morning.  We usually hang around and visit before we leave but today we were trying to beat the rain and we did, not a drop on the way home!  Our drive was uneventful and we are home, showered and ready to put our feet up.  We emptied the refrigerator and left all the rest of the unpacking for tomorrow.

Sorry I've gotten behind in visiting your journals!  I am going to sprinkle stars tonight and hope to get back to commenting in the next day or two.

I am grateful that we are safely home!  And....there was a message on our landline from Fed Ex saying that my new phone will be delivered tomorrow.  Yay!!
