passing by

Nature is wonderful. It always amazes. Sometimes I take time to observe its beauty, but mostly I'm too busy. In the first chapter of Genesis, the writer says that God created the trees and shrubs for both beauty as well as for food. However you read ancient texts, this is the reality. Some things are a joy to look at and they provide nourishment.
Today's blip records beauty and "the beast" - that is if one of its cousins has ever stung you! 
But seriously, maybe now and again we need to stop and give thanks, if we are people of faith, or just feel thankful, if we come from another tradition, for what we see in our magnificent natural environment
