Tiny Tuesday .....

We had two monarchs eclose (emerge) this morning and we got to witness one of them.   What a thrilling sight that was! The miracle of the monarch life cycle never fails to amaze me! We have raised both of these butterflies from the egg stage .... and now they are both beautiful butterflies!  One is male and the other is female.  We will wait until tomorrow to release them as the weather isn't good enough today.

I had set up the camera ahead of time so that I could possibly get some pictures of her emerging.  And I got several good pictures .... I have added an extra of her shortly after the eclosing when her wings are starting to unfurl. 

I have several days to backblip but I wanted to at least get this TT picture up .... only one day behind!
