Oak galls.

I went to the Christmas....yes I said Christmas....cattle and sheep sale at the mart.

You know how I like a sale and today everything fell into place since I didn't have to pick J up from the airport and a friend took care of L. I was able to stay until the end....fantastic!

I didn't realise how much not being able to do much because of my knee was getting me down. I love farmers and it was so good to get in amongst them again. I miss the crack. I had a great day and feel rejuvenated and human again!! Along with my new knee (which I'm sure you're fed up hearing about!) I'm getting a life!!!

I took photos in the mart but they weren't great and I've blipped it before so todays blp is of a couple of oak galls that I spotted on a leaf. They are caused by gall wasps and I think these are oak acorn galls caused by Amphibolips cooki although I'm sure you'll correct me if I'm wrong!!

I like the colours of the leaves. Simple things!!
