Show me the way to go home

One of the things I enjoy about living where I do is that there are still many remnants hereabouts of objects and traditions which have long since vanished in larger urban areas.

Take this old black and white cast iron signpost less than a mile from my home for example....a lovely wee reminder of a bygone age. I love it.
