Bath Time

I met up with my friend Claire today for a bit of lunching and retail therapy. As I was 10 minutes early, I popped into the nearby park and caught this image of this little blackbird having a nice bath. Much later on, we found ourselves at one of the prime waxwing spots, and saw about 100 birds high in the trees, but as the light was poor by then, I didn't get any shots anywhere near as good as the one I got near to home last Saturday - here in case you missed it.. Thanks to everyone for their kind comments and favourites this week. Despite having had a difficult week with hospital visits etc, I seem to have managed one or two bird shots I was really pleased with.
