Square Format

An exhibition of archaeological finds illustrating Salford's history over the last 8000 years opened today at Salford Central Railway station. Sponsored by Network Rail and Transport for Greater Manchester.

The City's elected Mayor Paul Dennett (pictured in red tie) and Mike Nevell from Salford University's  Archaeology Service did the honours. A typical Board can be found in the extras. Good to put the exhibition up in such a public place.
