poor thing

We got back from work to find dad and Marius on the bridge in Les Pilles. There were a few other people standing around too. There was a goat on the riverbed! It had jumped about 10m down from the road onto the stones below when it had been frightened by a car :( The poor thing wasn’t moving at all. Someone called the mayor and the animal protection services but neither of them said to do anything as we have to let nature take its course.

As this is a back blip, I can say that the goat hung around for a few days on the river bed - it moved a bit further down towards Nyons but didn’t seem to be in any pain. We think it might just have been in shock from the massive fall. It eventually disappeared but we don’t know if it was taken by another animal, or if it just decided to leave Les Pilles!
