Our last Supetar sunrise...
... as we prepared for a rather slow tedious journey home.
After a lovely week on the Croatian island of Brac, we knew, from the outward journey, the trip home would be less than pleasant.
It started with the absolute refusal from locals to queue for the ferry, leading to considerable unpleasantness.
The conditions and facilities when we finally reached the airport in Split were totally inadequate. This was surprising given the relative newness of the departure building. Most of the crowd waiting to fly out could only stand or sit on the floor, for a couple of hours.
The greatest concern was the security check; we approached passport control, before getting on the plane, to be nodded through without even a glance at the photo page, once the checker saw the EU cover. He simply said 'Good-bye.' That left the question 'What will happen after Brexit?'
But we are home now after a very enjoyable holiday.
