Town Hall

A successful shopping trip to Perth today and a lovely lunch (beats working any day...)

The skies were getting greyer as the day wore on and on our way back to the car park I looked up and spotted these sculptures, there is one on each side of The Town Hall and I have been to Perth hundreds of times and have never noticed them before.

Sir Walter Scott published a story called The Fair Maid of Perth in 1828 and since then Perth has been known as The Fair City despite only achieving city status this year.
