Treasure from the garden
Our beautiful tomato plants, which looked so promising back in June, were overcome by the heat and drought.
In spite of friends who rallied round to water them and talk to them while we were on holiday at the time, they have only produced a few wizened fruit.
This tiny, tough skinned example, overshadowed by the basil leaves, is the first to be picked, more for Tiny Tuesday on Blip than for a feast.
