Work of Art ???

A few weeks ago when our road was re surfaced we were told they would be back to do the cu de sac . 

Well this is it .What a mess.I don't know why they bothered.

Two workmen arrived earlier.looked at it a few times Measured up in so many strides. Did a bit of cutting with what looked like a grasscutter and this is the finished result. 
I suppose it will flatten down after a few cars drive over it
