Blonds in Green Pastures

Enjoyed a walking day together with others along the river Amstel. We'd set off in Amsterdam city and followed a route that painter Rembrandt is supposed to have taken often, according to his many sketches that depict his footsteps there.
This meadow has turned green again over the past fortnight when Summer's heat was lowered with normal temps again, hence the grazing cattle in it. These blond cows I reckon belong to the French race D'Aquitane, Rembrandt surely did not see this kind of cows here in his days... he's sketched here too! and I blipped :)
