The Dancer

I don't get this very often, but...every once in a while...you get a sand-hill crane dancer.

I always thought that the dance was to attract the opposite sex, or to get their partner "in the mood." But, I think this crane was just having some fun. It would pick up a stick or a leaf...and toss it in the air. It would then retrieve it, and toss it again. Fun to watch.

Also fun to watch was the pair of fawns I saw in the forest. One of the pictures is in the Extras. I took 1149 pictures today, and about 1100 were trash...but...you still have to sort through them...just in case you get something.
