Checkin' in

Thursday we were up and out of the house early, as we had to travel a ways to see the Chest Wall Specialist.  It it time for Sugar's yearly visit to check up on her Pectus Excavatum.  I like to call it her Harry Potter Disease, as it sounds like a spell.  tee hee.  The Specialist was please to see that it hasn't progressed this year much, if at all.  She asked Sugar a lot of questions about how she feels about the way she looks, and once we determined that Sugar is comfortable with it, it was determined that we need not come back unless she starts to have symptoms of heart or lung issues, or if she becomes unhappy with the way she looks.  This was all very good news.  

Sugar's cold kept her from wanting to do too much shopping in the larger city, but we did a bit, in hopes to prepare for school a bit more.  We stopped by my parent's farm on the way home, and then jetted on our way.  The Hubby continues to be out to sea, so the animals count on us to get home at a reasonable hour.
