Target Day

When our summer holiday was in the planning Daisy said she wanted to go to America and go to Target. I think there are few holidays left where Daisy wants to come too so America and Target it was. And today, our last full day, has been hilarious as we focussed on Target as an objective.

First we had to change an inadequate replacement car while it’s in the garage for some kind of mini bus. Oh actually, we had to have bacon,eggs and toast first. So most of us ended us setting off about 1pm to Target. Daisy was as excited as a super excited thing, she bought many of the things on her list (stationery, Oreos, other nonsense). Then we had Starbucks, admired Daisy’s most fabulous purchases and I made them pose for photos. Phill asked if I could hurry it along as it was all quite embarrassing.

It got worse, Daisy made us walk across the parking lot (!) to Dollar Tree. So essentially we spent our holiday in the US equivalent of Poundland. She managed to spend $5 plus tax....

Happily, sense clicked in and we all went for a fabulous seafood dinner. Top lovely.
