Home Again

After a sad parting and a smooth journey over the ocean, I arrived at home to find my cats looking fatter and reigning over an extremelymessy room. After six weeks they took a little while to renew their normal affection and familiarity, with the exception of Carlo, who treats every passing stranger as his easy chair.

This is Laura Earle, settled in beside me as I finally began a long, refreshing sleep.
