Soft Cell's find

Today ian took up the paving slabs that were the old base of the demolished stable. He disturbed a number of rats of all sizes that ran off in all directions.

This afternoon Soft Cell was sitting on the grass mewing at me. I saw that he was looking at a tiny dead rat that was lying on his back. Later on we saw him playing with another two baby rats that sadly ended their days in his claws. They had probably been abandoned by their mothers.

Juliette has started going outside into the garden if we are there.. She doesn't go far but this is progress. Now that Soft Cell has rats to keep him amused perhaps he will stop annoying juliette.
