Turkey

For a long time wood pigeons have been called turkeys by our family, partly because of their size and as a term of endearment. We have been forever vegetarian so it's not that we have any ulterior motive.

The bird table is the latest addition to the youngest's garden. In less than half an hour the wood pigeon had gained enough confidence to sit on the table. Hope it returns tomorrow and maybe I'll get a picture of it !
