Moon & Mars

Not a great photo but I was really struck by the brilliance of the full moon and, not far from it, Mars at the brightest and reddest I can recall seeing it.  We are in a period lasting several weeks in which all the planets including Earth are on one side of the sun, which means all the visible planets can be seen during the night.  When this period started the Moon was also full and Mars was close to Earth.  Once years ago it was closer, but where I was then, the sky was cloudy and I missed it.
