On Wavering Down

We took a stroll on Wavering Down, on the western edge of The Mendips, this morning, a walk we haven't done so far this year.

In the middle distance, just right of centre, you can see Crook Peak and to the left and further distant, is Brent Knoll with the Bristol Channel and the Somerset coast beyond.

We reckoned we'd earnt a pub lunch in Axbridge when we got back to the car.
