Orangutan in the wild

Back blip:
Today we went to the Sepilok orangutan rehabilitation centre and saw how the young orphaned orangutans were cared for until they could be released to the wild. We saw an enormous male who had come in from the wild looking for a mate which made the feeding time interesting. He ate most of the bananas and saw off the little long tailed macaques trying to pinch some!
After we had left we then saw this wild orangutan having a good meal which was amazing!
We just had time to see the rehabilitation for sunbears (the smallest bear in the world) which was literally next door. The bears have been rescued fromm illegal captors so some were badly injured. We manage to see four and I have put a shot of one as an extra.
After that we drove for several hours to Sukan Rainforest lodge where we stayed for 2 nights and stayed in the room that David Attenborough once stayed in!
We went for an  afternoon and evening boat trip and saw all sorts of wildlife including proboscis monkeys -( I have included one in the extras)  and 2 pygmy elephants swimmimg across the river.
