I walked to the pond in the morning. The weather rather dull.
Piet Hein had an appointment in The Hague, and had gone swimming before he left.
When I arrived at the pond I saw that the swans were crossing the road.
I walked quickly to see if they were safe. See extra photo.
Then I kep walking along the shore of the little canals where the swans went looking for food. And they found enough.

Later in the afternoon we cycled to the sea, the weather had suddenly changed, the sun shone, we sat at the warm sand, dozed away, and then had a dive in the water.
