Gas Powered Electricity

Today British Gas came to change out the SSE smart meter for one of their own.  I won’t comment on the engineer, but he did do a nice neat job in the electricity cabinet.  We did have a visit from a ‘Weston Power’ engineer as well (I’m pleased to say).

 
At least this smart meter can be read anywhere in the house – the SSE version was struggling the other side of the wall.  This gas powered version is sitting in the living room on the mantelpiece the other side of the house!
 
Now if we can keep our daily consumption down to this . . .
