The Waverley at Tighnabruaich Pier

We rented a flat above the little row of shops in Tighnabruaich on the Cowal peninsula.
The plan was to spend most of our time in Tighnabruaich and Kames with one or two local drives and hopefully a day trip to the Isle of Bute.

Fergus got to have a go on a ferry, from Tarbert across Loch Fyne to Portavadie. Just a half hour crossing, and you don't even have to get out of the car.
