Protect the Highlights

I was watching a YouTube photography related video yesterday evening while doing the ironing (as you do). The presenter was talking about ‘Protecting Your Highlights’. Make sure the highlights of the photo are not blown out and let the shadows be just that.

He also mentions how the idea of protecting your highlights in your day itself. When good things happen make sure they stick in your head as we are programmed to remember bad things more easily.

Anyway, here is my attempt at protecting the highlights while I was waiting for my connecting train.
