Housebound

I think I'm winning.

The cold seems to be getting better and not worse (although I know these sneaky viruses can make you think that as they move from your head to your chest - or vice versa).

So long as I don't try to do too much, I'm functioning well.

It was a good day to be (virtually) housebound as the weather was disgusting and I would have been housebound anyway.

I did escape to the harbour for a coffee after lunch - all part of the plan. A break and some sea air would be good for me, I reckoned. Ozone etc.

It was and it wasn't. Clearly it had been dry and reasonably pleasant all day over there - all of 4 miles from my house, where being a few metres uphill and 2 kilometres inland meant being covered in low cloud and light rain.

Well, such is life in this strange climate.

Decision time tonight - go to work in the morning and pass the virus to my 3 colleagues or stay at home to face accusations of "man flu".
