Tanya with Kylie's Dressing Room at the V&A

This is my lovely friend Tanya, we met in the 90's when I was singing backing vicals for Belinda Carlilse and Tanya was part of her Management team, we reconnected again in Sydney 4 years ago when I was on tour there through the magic of Facebook, she was living there at the time, we did Mardi Gras together with the Freemasons and Peyton in heels, showgirl head-dresses, tutus and basques and have been firm friends ever since! She came back to the UK to work on the Olympics as live music co-ordinator and although I saw her there a few times this is the first proper catch up we've had for ages.
I am a member of the V&A so we went to the Ballgown exhibition which was rather dissappoiting although there were about 4 stunning peices in there and then to the Hollywood costume exhibition (my second visit), it is amazing! More info here if you're interested.
This is Kylie's Showgirl tour dressing room, a permanent exhibit, Tanya worked on one of Kylie's tours so it seemed fitting to photograph her here.
We walked to the West End past the ice rink at the NHM and Harrods and really enjoyed the Christmas displays, especially Snow White and Cinderella!
We parted at Piccadilly Circus and I went to the Crown and Two Chairmen in Dean Street for another Composer's get together organised by the lovely David Lowe, I met some great new people and reconnected with some I already knew, a great evening. My friend Rita was there and a few of us went on to the Groucho Club afterwards and then Rita and I went to Soho House then to a late night Italian for coffee and got a cab back, Rita stayed over which was really nice.
