Great rocks

We found this family climbing all over the rocks on the Butchers Dam walk. Nice to see the family out doing stuff together like this.

These huge rocks are such a distinctive feature of our landscape - a landscape that can be harsh. FREEZING in the winter, roasting hot in the summer, baren and dry, but incredibly awesome too. I often wonder how the gold miners survived when they lived here 130 or so years ago.
