Last minute blip

A follow on of yesterdays blip, just before the guests arrived.  Helen took my camera up to the balcony and took this. I was faffing in the kitchen!

It was a super get together, about 50 folk turned up, and the committee had produced enough food to feed them all several times over!  A wonderful selection of cold meats, fish dishes, quiches, salads, breads etc and the most delicious selection of puds too!  My favourite was the lovely moist orange and cardamom cake, with a little dollop of cream on the side! 

The fizz bubbled and everyone enjoyed themselves and then all the committee helped with the clearing up.  A great way to celebrate 40 years of the co-operative!

A quick blip as we are off on the road again tomorrow on the first ferry.  Heading down the west coast with the campervan, not quite sure how far or quite where!   Blipping will be erratic!  Cheerio!
