Lesliedale, Orkney

A walk today from Houton via Midland Hill, Ward Hill, Midhill, Keelylang, Wideford Hill and down into Kirkwall.  Fourteen and a half miles and some quite tricky terrain.  An hour’s break and then into the dancing.  The Current Mrs Creel keeps me on my  her toes   Ideal conditions, flat calm, only a few midges.

I didn’t take my book with me.

Another action packed week awaits, or so my agent tells me.
