My sisters and I walked to Chawton today. We've been staying at sister R's house (second from left next to me) in Alton which is only a mile away. Sister A2 in the middle wanted some photos of herself in archetypal English countryside to look at when she's back in deepest Texas (which she is now), so here we are perched on the wall of Chawton church, where Jane Austen would have worshipped, with the haha and park of Chawton House behind us.
